I've really screwed around with the day & night cycle.

Yesterday was one of the more enjoyable days this year had to offer; went to changi airport's Swensens with my cousins, Ashraf, Iqbal & Adibah, & my mom & sis. It feels a tad weird when teens like us go out with a middle-aged adult, but since my mom is a teacher who deals with students our age herself, the outing went quite well. We got along just fine together, cracking jokes(some not even funny) along the way. Swensens must make a great deal of profit from their fish&chips, since everyone seems to be ordering just that EVERY SINGLE TIME I go there.
A Pic we hesistantly "posed" for at Swensens.

The Emo, The Chicken, & The Cleric. (Very BLURRY, I know, I'm able to see that for myself)
Please pardon how retarded we looked, we had just accomplished the forced task of having to gobble up every single morsel of food; felt like we were about to explode.
After dinner & some ice cream, we adjourned to the Times Bookstore on the 2nd level of T2. Wasted a good half an hour there trying to find a present for my Granddad's upcoming birthday. The cousins & I had some laughs looking at small gifts we "should" give our friends for their respective birthdays. One of them made me laugh. The card read, "Happy Bithday, Sweet LITTLE Thing". Notice how I've highlighted the word little in bold. That'd be such a perfect present for a certain someone I know, who is LITTLE but isn't sweet at all. I wonder which of the words, sweet or little would agitate him more, due to his ego of gargantuan proportions.Ah, that aside, I'll continue with my post.
Even after that very filling meal at Swensens, a couple of us intended on going to the Coffee Bean for some cool ice-blendeds. Everyone had a beverage that was either chocolate or coffee-based except me.I had the ice-blended berry smoothie or something like that. We discussed about how we would insert photos into the standing family tree with hanging frames for the photographs we got for Granddad as his birthday present while taking small sips from our delightful drinks. My mom talked about some rather sensitive & solemn topics(maybe sensitive & solemn to us but not to them since middle-aged adult minds work differently from ours) which silenced everyone. Heh. I guess she's good at adding to the tension instead of breaking the ice during conversations, particularly during group discussions. In the end, all of my cuzzies decided to sleep over at my house, since it was getting late. We played some xbox when we got back, albeit how fatigued we were after our little outing. My sis immediately fell asleep, so too bad for Adibah. We prank-called Adibah's "friend" who had kept prank-calling her, as revenge. The idiot kept answering our calls; we dialled his number & when he answered it, we played ridiculous songs to prank him; barney's song, the power rangers' theme, & rick roll are a few examples. It's pretty wicked prank-calling people when it's 2am in the morning; prank-calling is so much fun until you actually get caught for it.
Iqbal & I played a bit of Halo 3 before hitting the sack at around 4am. As a result, I got up 2 hours late for my tuition which was supposed to be at 10am. Knowing that it was kinda pointless to continue with tuition today, I apologized to my tutor via sms & went straight back to sleep. My sleep was disturbed at least a dozen times by smses & phone calls from various peeps, in particular my mom.She kept on calling me to wake up & get ready for tuition arranged to be at 1pm, since I overslept. I glanced at my clock; it was already 12:30pm. Irritable & sleepy, I decided to shut the world out & went into my "deep sleep" mode. When I felt that the coast was clear, I checked my caller ID, & here are the list of people who phoned/smsed me:
My tutor(10:45am)
My mom(called at least several times)
Adibah's prank-caller
An unknown number 91757863
Before I decided to go to sleep again, my dad phoned me & asked me to go for tuition as well, and said he was right in the middle of a meeting -.- If he was, why would he go through all that trouble just to wake me up for tuition? I know he's my dad, but it was already nearly 1pm.Just when I thought that I was in deep shit with my folks for not attending tuition today, my mom phoned me & told me that tuition today would be cancelled & left for tomorrow, since my tutor couldn't make it today.I apologized countless times, & I was sincere. I mean, I haven't slept for 2 whole days previously.Even guys need their beauty sleep, I guess. In the end I, hibernated through most of today, & despite numerous other UTTERLY ANNOYING wake-up calls from my maid, my sis & my mom, I managed to have a few more hours of significant sleep & awoke at 5pm.
Avoided Conflict.
I thank Ashraf, Iqbal & Adibah for their company yesterday.(although Adibah & Iqbal are currently still here at my house, eating pizza we just ordered -.-)It truly made my day, if not my
entire week!
