.......................... I'm back AT LAST.

Sheesh. Hadn't the mood to post since.. I dunno when. LONG.

I even encountered problems while attempting to login into my blogger account just now =.=

Oh well.

In recent weeks I've been busy handling a handful of guests-my DEAR classmates & schoolmates, over at my house.

... I must note that although having some company in this usually loner life of mine can be rather refershing, there are boundaries not to be trespassed. In short, having some of my friends over was a curse, yet a blessing in disguise xP(no offense guys)

Ah, anyway. Here are a few of the less quotidian events that had transpired while I was inactive in the blogging fad:

- Some religious gathering thingy at my house for my parents after their Haj; over a HUNDRED people turned up. Was surprised to see my schoolmate, Khairul Ikhwan sitting in the living room hall of my terrace, as he too was present for the occasion. (I guess our dads are friends o.O)

- Sis has gone crazy ever since my dad bought Guitar Hero World Tour for our Xbox360. I did too, but it was less long term than my sis' reaction to getting the game. She plays it like a freak sometimes.. :) Just kinda sad we only got the guitar, not the drums and microphone.. :((Perhaps either my sis or myself'll complete the whole set soon, though.)

- CNY [GONG XI FA CHAI to all who celebrate it]; MAPLESTORY. Like a no-lifer. Of course, I completed the mounds of homework in advance like a no-lifer, too. Also made a trip to the Singapore Science Centre.(Oh god it's been quite a while.. yet somehow it's all so clear in my memory..hadn't changed much) Watched documentaries about the Swiss Alps & the Wild Coast in Africa. The one where sardines were featured really made me hanker for some sardine sandwiches after that.. Visited my Neighboors for CNY a week after the 1st day of CNY. It was great catching up on things with them. Indeed, they are our closest neighboors, there since my family moved in to our humble terrace home 10 years back.

We also celebrated 2 of my youngest cousin's Birthdays at a chalet at Aloha Changi, during that week after CNY. Lots of fun with my little cousins, & not to mention, my BIG cuzzies. hahahs.

The following weeks were quite ordinary; School School School.

While focusing on my studies, I still wonder how I managed to train my dk up to a drk in maple.

Then there came the long awaited MARCH HOLIDAYS. On the 1st weekend of the ephmeral 'holiday', watched the LOTR Trilogy at home with my mom. (What can I say? I got bored.)

Something miraculously amazing happened, too. Got a shock when my dad pretended to be a genie & grant 1 wish of mine & my sis's. I knew what he was referring to-the IT Fair. & so we had an endless discussion about how I should start behaving after I get my laptop. I decided to get an ASUS Gaming laptop. Browsed through the papers & found 4 good ASUS laptop deals. Ended up choosing the 16 inch LCD screen one, 4.00 GB Ram. Price? I'm not a fan of gossiping
bout' who's got the most expensive luxury technology boasts, but I'd say my new lappy's pretty right on when it comes to performance. What's more, my new toy seemed like it was destined for me. After all, it was the LAST ONE IN STOCK. My dad even had to collect it from Suntec again on the following day, Sunday, instead of that saturday itself as it was the very last one there happened to be. On The 15th of March, I got my very first PERSONAL Laptop.(Gee, If i can recall correctly, that would be the same date I got my onyx electric guitar! xD) I can't express my ebullience... Maybe I don't know how to express it. All I can say is, Thanks Dad. I won't let you & Ma down. =)

If you were wondering what my sis got, well it was peanuts compared to what I got; a headset. I feel kinda guilty to have gotten something far better than her, but again, I'm just glad she's also gotten the musical instrument of her dreams- a violin., a month or so ago. hahas.I must admit how shocked I was to find out the true amplitude of a cordless violin- ******* LOUD LA!I guess now my electric guitar'll have something to strum for... Once more. Heh.

March holidays for me seemed longer than usual, I did not attend school on the last 2 days before the march hols anyway, & that meant no report book. Had my parents seen that book from hell before the IT fair ended, there'd been a good chance I wouldn't have even been able to be usin' it right now. Oh well, Past's Past. Looking forward & getting your priorities straight'd be the best solution. No point harping over the past. From after the March Holidays onward, I'm channeling all my focus into my slackening academics, though it would take extra motivation to get that old drive of mine back; the unparalleled light of determination, faith & hope.

Back to the topic on how I spent my march holidays.

- Whole sec 4 lvl had to sit for a mother tongue MOCK EXAM. On the 1st day, to add. Horrible enough?

- Went fishing at Keppel Marina with pops, my uncle & cousins again, only that this time it was night-time. Again, we had to hang those dumb 'fishing permits' over our necks. As usual, being in the good company of my cousins soothed me for abit; laughter is the best cure, but laughing with the people you love & care for is something else, something far more delectable.

- Went to Whitesands' Swensens for lunch on one of the weekdays of the holiday, discovering that it would close shop on the 22nd of March. D: Sad, but that day my sis, mom & I had 4 meals for the price of 2 since it was on offer. Experienced the LONGEST EVER order-time that day. My mom acted all 'english-lady' with the nyonya manager(as how I would profile her) & I was sitting in the middle of yet another quintessential episode of "When English Meets Singlish". Taking our order practically took longer than the time we spent there eating. In addition, taking the 2 for 1 offer seemed a mistake; we had 4 meals to finish & only 3 people. In the end, I ended up finishing the leftovers of my sis & mom's orders coz they couldn't finish em' & packed home everything left of my breaded chicken-untouched.After that my sis left hasilty, buzzing off in a huff to meet her friends. Mom scouted popular bookshop. I scouted comics connection. Disappointed to see the game I wanted wasn't in stock at C.C, i urged my mom to follow me to challenger, just to see what xbox360 game there was. After much thought, I chose Gears of War 2 over LOTR Conquest, following my pervert-&-IT Savvy cousin Aslam's advice.(I didn't know how to spend the money i had accumulated that wasn't to be saved in my bank account, so i did just that.)

Up till now, it's impossible for me to ever regret buying Gears of War 2. I can only regret not buying the LIMITED EDITION VERSION, getting the mundane copy instead. =(

- Went to Changi Airport's Swensens to treat my cousin after she got her poly-end results. hahah.

I think ya'll be damn right if ya think my post is getting far too long & draggy. In a way, my hair shares a distinct similarity with my blog's posts-both of em' are long & think, yet rich & stylish =x (Ok, sorry for being a tad arrogant).

I'll end here with a video of the Gears of War Cutscene I simply can;t get enough of + some recent photos.

My Abominable Pal .
